TELL ME A STORY

This page is dedicated to all the Buffy and Giles fan fiction creations that I have written over the years. These stories are divided into two distinct parts relative to where they occur either within the timeline of the television series, or after the show went off the air.

In the Years 1997 to 2003

This first section encompasses those fictions that would have taken place during the original series, and follow the rules of the canon current to their place within that timeline. For your convenience, I have provided a synopsis of each tale, and attempted to approximate place within the chronology of the applicable season, as well as listing those significant episodes I feel best pinpoint the current events in the Scooby Gang's lives..

SEASON ONE Sorry, No Stories Here

SEASON TWO Sorry, No Stories Here

SEASON THREE

YOUTHFUL INDISCRETIONS

VERSION ONE takes place during the third season after the episode "Bad Girls" and before the episode "Consequences"

PAIRING: There are no unusual romantic pairings. The character relationships closely follow those of the TV show canon for this particular time line within the third season. (Buffy is currently with Angel, Willow is with Oz, and Xander is dating Cordelia ). The emphasis is on a Buffy and Giles working friendship. Faith and the Mayor's presence are glossed over as this fiction deals mostly with the main core group of characters.

RATING: Pretty much PG-13. There is some mild language, and several references to sex, but no explicit or descriptive text. Only a few gratuitous schmoochies here and there.

SUMMARY: As if just being a teenager isn't tough enough, Buffy Summers has to break in her new Watcher, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. She also has to stop a demon that is bent on decimating the male population in town, plus deal with some unusual consequences that have befallen her former Watcher and mentor, Rupert Giles.

YOUTHFUL INDISCRETIONS

VERSION TWO falls early in the third season, post "Band Candy" and just prior to "Lover's Walk" and "Helpless".

PAIRING: There are no unusual romantic pairings. The character relationships closely follow those of the TV show canon for this particular time line (Buffy is with Angel, Willow and Oz are together, Xander has broken up with Cordelia, who is now showing interest in Wesley. ). The emphasis is on a Buffy and Giles working friendship. Faith and the Mayor's presence are glossed over as this deals mostly with the main core group of characters.

RATING: Pretty much PG-13. There is some mild language, and several references to sex, but no explicit or descriptive text. Only a few gratuitous schmoochies here and there.

SUMMARY: As if just being a teenager isn't tough enough, Buffy Summers has to stop a demon that is bent on decimating the male population in town, plus deal with some unusual consequences that have befallen her Watcher and mentor, Rupert Giles.

SEASON SEVEN Sorry, No Stories Here

WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD OF BUFFY AND GILES ReVAMP'D!

Prepare yourself lovers of all things B&G Scooby. All the rules have changed.

In this next section you will find a series of fictions that take place after the conclusion of the last episode of the original series. As a note of alert to those who believe in strict canon, these stories veer off from the original series in that they do incorporate the above tales are part of canon. Furthermore, they completely ignore the existence of the Dark Horse comic series . This means that if it wasn't mentioned during the television series, I have given myself literary permission to create facts within the main characters' various backgrounds. This may include names of relatives alluded to exist in the series, or that were never mentioned before. There are also events mentioned that take place outside of the original scope of the series using my own stories as new canon.

Be warned, there are plenty of new characters introduced in these new tales of Buffy and Giles. There are also allusions to possible new romantic involvements for our intrepid band of Scoobies. It's a brand new and exciting life after the Hellmouth, and I designed it according to my warped imagination.

A brief synopsis of each "episode" story has been provided for your convenience. It goes to say, those words encompass merely a hint of the goings on, and there will be more adventures happening than mentioned within that summary.

I hope that you enjoy reading these tales as much as I have had in creating them for you.

LIFE GOES ON

takes up in those exact moments immediately following the final apocalypse that destroyed the town of Sunnydale, and closed its Hellmouth. The dust of their victory over evil has begun to settle, and those Scoobies that have managed to survive must now face the scary reality of what to do with the rest of their new lives. There are friendships that refuse to end, ongoing romances still budding, with promise, and old relationships that require mending to before the can become whole again. It's all about picking up the pieces and moving on with life, and if there's one thing our favorite Scoobies know how to do, is live those lives with daring adventure!

PAIRING: At this point there are no new romantic pairings. The character relationships closely follow those at the conclusion of the TV show canon ( Willow is with Kennedy, Xander is still grieving after the recent demise of his former girlfriend Anya, while both Buffy and Giles are currently unattached and very available. ) The emphasis here, as always, is on a Buffy and Giles working friendship., though other characters may see more beyond this special relationship.

*A NOTE ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATIONS

The pencil drawings that accompany the fan fiction on this page are of my own creation and design. I do acknowledge the use of photographs from various books and magazines in my possession, as well as the those that I have downloaded from the internet. I wish that I could say exactly where I found all these sources, but sadly, I'm not organized enough to be able to credit each and everyone piece I have collected. Eventually, I hope to have a bibliography or sorts on this site to cover most of that.

I'm not sure how legal copyrights work, but I am trusting that no one who visits this site will abuse the artwork that I have posted. I have signed and dated the originals, and I ask that any copying of said work is done only for personal and private use. I worked hard on these things, and though I am not a professed portrait artist, I don't think I did so bad in capturing the characters. I admit some aren't as good as others. These things don't always work out for me. Still, I'm proud of what I've managed to accomplish with a simple piece or paper, some pencils, and the help of my computer.

If you check back from time to time, I will be uploading additional illustrations for those chapters I have not yet gotten around to doing. ANd yes, I do know that I've used some of the same pictures in both versions of my story. I borrowed where I thought it appropriate, and made changes to some other pieces to help cut back on the time. (Again, the miracle of the modern computer shines through for me!)

Please enjoy both the artwork and the writing responsibly.
